AstroStart RI-GM-1 Remote Start Interface for GM Vehicles

AstroStart RI-GM-1 Remote Start Interface

RI-GM-1 REMOTE STARTER FOR GM VEHICLES INCREASED RANGE AND EASY INSTALLATION.

With the introduction of factory installed (OEM) remote starters in certain 2005 and 2006 GM vehicles, Astroflex has developped an innovative new product which offers its user the ability to obtain even greater value with their OEM remote starter.

The new RI-GM-1 interface works with GM vehicles that come with a factory installed remote starter. These factory starters have a performance range that is limited to less than 150 feet*. The RI-GM-1 lets you start your vehicles from over 1500 feet* away while keeping all their other preinstalled OEM features of your vehicle.

The RI-GM-1 can be installed securely and easily using only three wires in the starter systems of the following GM vehicles:

  • Chevrolet Malibu and Montana SV6 2004-2006
  • Buick Allure, Lacrosse and Terraza 2005
  • Pontiac, Grand Prix and G6 2005
  • Saturn Relay 2005
Other vehicles will be added in the coming months – check our Web site or AstroChart software for more compatible models.

The RI-GM-1 kit includes two five-button remotes, 372.5 MHz Xtreme range receiver and the interface module.

The AstroStart RI-GM-1's remote features include the starter, security control, lock, unlock, panic button, trunk opener and sliding door opener.

Please note: Features vary according to vehicle models. Operating modes and security features offered by GM remain the same. See your vehicle starter guide for more details on remote starter features.
