dashboard with CVA-1000

The CVA-1000 was chosen because of its ability to control the DSP and navigation units.

CVA-1000 in the dash

Note that the factory heat & air conditioning controls were relocated to the upper dashboard in order to properly install the CVA-1000.

CHA-S604 mounted in the rear compartment

Alpine CHA-S604 6-disc CD changer installed behind the spare tire.

4100 amplifier

An a/d/s/ P4100 4 channel amplifier runs the a/d/s/ separates and coupled component speakers.

Amplifiers

Located below the rear seat, an a/d/s/ M280 was chosen to power the JL Audio subwoofer because of its ability to deliver tremendous power on demand.

Cherokee interior stripped

The interior was stripped down to "bare bones" to allow for a clean installation of all the system wiring.

EQ mounted in the console

The alternate display for the Alpine ERA-G320 DSP/EQ was relocated into the center console. A custom pocket was fabricated to hold the system's wireless remote controls.

Stock heat/AC controls

Temperature gauges were molded into the factory radio's previous space.

(Click here to see more pictures of the climate control relocation.)

JL Audio Stealthbox

A single JL Audio 10W6 subwoofer in a JL Stealthbox enclosure fills in the low end.

(Click here to see more pictures of the JL Stealthbox installation.)

Alpine Navigation unit

Alpine's navigation computer and CD-ROM drive were placed under the passenger's seat for ease of access.

Steering wheel remote

The factory steering wheel stereo controls were painstakingly modified to control the new audio system.
